Very beautiful library with a small cafe on the ground floor (a bit pricey, though there are also several tables (only a few power sockets)). Frequented by students, workers, and visitors who are there to read. Very busy, especially during exam season, so if you go there with a friend, it might be hard to find a seat together. Majority of the seats will be on the 1st floor, though there's maybe 3 or 4 tables on the 2nd floor. Most of the tables have sockets, though some (e.g., the round tables) do not. Additionally, there are some tables on the 1st floor equipped with lamps for those who like that too (I do). There are also rooms that are silent study rooms, but you can do quiet chatting in the open areas (people still tend to be quiet, so if you have to take a video/audio call, you may have to move away from those who are working). There are some washrooms you could only access if you have a library card (which I believe is 1 EUR to register for), but there are some washrooms open to all (ground floor, 2nd floor). It seems that if you have the library card, you can also access salaborsa's exclusive wifi, though if you don't there's also public Bologna/Emilia Romagna wifi that you can use (which can be slow, so I usually just use my own data). If you study in the open area on the 1st floor, sometimes there would be events happening on the ground floor below, and it could get quite loud. When I can find a seat, I really enjoy it here!
