The café is a bit of an unusual one, as, while open to the public, it’s attached to a university building, so comes with a lot of the perks and pitfalls of that. On the one hand, it has decently comfortable chairs and tables, including a couple of armchairs, high-chairs and high-tables, most of which have floor sockets close by, and is incredibly open to people working on their laptops, with at least half the people there at any one time on their devices. On the other hand, because it’s part of a university building, it doesn’t have its own facilities, although there are regularly cleaned, accessible toilets very close by, practically across from the entrance to the café within the building it’s in, and it also doesn’t have its own WIFi, instead relying on Eduroam, which is excellent inside, but obviously not available to everyone.
