A small crew and a big community, improving LaptopFriendly bit by bit. Here’s what changed recently.
Logged-in members now see each place’s Wi-Fi network and password, with one-tap copy. Know the password somewhere? Add it on the place page, so the next person can get online straight away.
Share a Wi-Fi password →The cities page now filters as you type, by city or country, and doesn’t mind accents: “krakow” finds Kraków. Press Enter to jump straight to the first match.
Search cities →Tap the new location button in the top-right corner of any city map to jump back to where you are and see the work-friendly places around you.
When you suggest a new place, the venue search shows matches near you first, so the café around the corner turns up before one with the same name across the world.
Suggest a place →Filtering a city now hides non-matching pins on the map too, and your filters, including “Open now” and “Liked”, are remembered the next time you visit.
Change your password or delete your account from your account settings, which are linked from your profile. Signed up with Google? You can set a password there too.
City pages load much faster, and photos further down the page only load as you scroll to them, which saves data on your phone.
New “Free entry” filter: is a place free to work from, or is a purchase or day pass expected? It’s blank for most places — help the community fill it in by rating the spots you know!
Rate your favorite spot →Spotted outdated hours? Hover over (or tap) the timetable on any place page, hit “Edit hours”, correct the times and save. Every fix is credited to your account — contributor profiles are coming later.
Find your favorite spot →Every city page now opens with a “Latest” block: the venue trending right now and the newest community activity at a glance.
The cities directory now ranks cities by members who worked from them this week, alongside live stats from the whole community.
